Profile
Bründlmayer in Langenlois is one of Austria’s most renowned wine estates and one of the largest in private ownership. Willi Bründlmayer has run the family business since the early 1980s and has done without chemical fertilisers and herbicides ever since; today the vineyards are certified organic. It is best known for its Riesling from the Zöbinger Heiligenstein, alongside Grüner Veltliner from Lamm and Käferberg and a Sekt aged for a long time on its lees. The terrace wines come from primary rock, with loess and loam on the lower terraces.
