Value for money

For a top biodynamic estate and 93 points from both Parker and Suckling (2023 vintage), a reasonable price, even if the competition on this list is somewhat cheaper.

The estate

Rebholz in Siebeldingen on the Südliche Weinstraße stood for uncompromisingly dry wines at a time when sweetness still dominated in the Pfalz: no chaptalisation, no deacidification, no fining. The vineyards are farmed biodynamically and lie on very different soils – Buntsandstein, Muschelkalk, Rotliegend and slate – which the estate deliberately brings out in its village and single-site wines.
