Profile
Rebholz in Siebeldingen on the Südliche Weinstraße stood for uncompromisingly dry wines at a time when sweetness still dominated in the Pfalz: no chaptalisation, no deacidification, no fining. The vineyards are farmed biodynamically and lie on very different soils – Buntsandstein, Muschelkalk, Rotliegend and slate – which the estate deliberately brings out in its village and single-site wines. The Kastanienbusch GG is one of the most sought-after dry Rieslings in Germany. The next generation, Hans and Valentin, is now also working at the estate.
