Profile
The Deidesheim estate has an exceptional range of sites from Forst to Königsbach, including Pechstein, Kirchenstück, Jesuitengarten and Ungeheuer. Under managing director Stephan Attmann, von Winning has relied since 2008 on spontaneous fermentation in wooden casks and the gentlest possible bottling by gravity – a return to traditional winemaking that has set a precedent for dry German Riesling. The aim is elegant, multi-layered, dry terroir wines; the Gutswein »Win Win« already carries this signature at entry level.
